Anne Davidson Place, 82 of Madisonville, TX passed away at her home in Madisonville on Wednesday; November 16, 2016. A celebration of her life is scheduled for 11am on Saturday; November 19th at The First Baptist Church in Madisonville with a private family burial to follow at Madisonville City Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled an hour prior to the service also at The First Baptist Church in Madisonville. Joshua Crutchfield and Brandon Maness will officiate.

Anne was born on March 24, 1934 in Kilgore, TX to Raleigh Cecil Davidson and Ethel (Jeffries) Davidson.

Anne was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Randolph Place; her husband, Jack Randolph Place; her parents; her father-in-law, Alton Jackson Place; her mother-in-law, Sibyl Caver Place; and her brother-in-law, Don Morris.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Sharon Place Wold and her husband Christopher Bert Wold; her daughter Mary "Bubba" Place Stanton and her husband Marvin Stanton; her grandchildren, Amy Annette Wold, Stephen Christopher Wold and his wife Cheryl, Anna Nason and her husband Scott, and Brett Stanton and his wife Michelle; her great grandchildren, Jackson Randolph Wold, Savannah Grace Wold, Hudson David Stanton, and Ketziah Mary Nason; her sister, Sue Davidson Morris; her niece, Laurie Anne Morris and her nephew, Lloyd Alan Morris.

Anne lived in various cities across Texas and Oklahoma from Houston to Bartlesville and in each place, she found contentment and forged friendships that would last a lifetime. Love is her legacy.

Serving as pallbearers are: Christopher Wold, Tim Wold, Stephen Wold, Scott Nason, Brett Stanton, and Marvin Stanton.

In memory of Anne, memorials may be given to The First Baptist Church of Madisonville or to Brazos Valley Hospice.
