Jones, Anne E.Age 88, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was born on August 5, 1928 in Elmira, NY to the late Charles and Ellen (Lee) Robinson. She was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Robinson, sister, Ellen Aaron and granddaughter, Muriel Mason. Anne is survived by her children, David, Sharon, Denise (Willie) and Douglas (Sherlita); brother, Charles Robinson; grandchildren, Marlynn, Todd (Amanda), Amber, Bryan and Stacie-Ann; great-grandchildren, Brittney, Maia (Massimo), Xavier, Reagen and Adrien; great-great grandson, Mason; sisters-in-law, Jean Robinson and Brenda Rouse; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends. Anne was a member of the Arc Club, the Elmira Historical Society and the Elmira Neighborhood House. It was Anne's wish that no services be held. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ernie Davis Community Center. The family would like to thank the second floor staff at the CCNF for the care given to Anne. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
