ANNE S. FLOE, 78 FREEPORT - Anne S. Floe, 78, of Freeport, died, in her home Saturday, March 23, 2013. Anne was born on November 13, 1934 in Sparta, Wisconsin, the daughter of Emmitt and Norma (Rudolph) Brody. She was a 1952 graduate of Freeport High School. Anne married Wallace Floe on February 21, 1960, in Freeport. Anne worked as a waitress at the Germania Club, Red Cedar, and Esquire. She also owned and operated Floe's place in Freeport. Anne enjoyed golfing, bowling, going to casinos, and vacationing and fishing in Sanibel Island, Florida. She was a member of the Park Hills Ladies Golf League. Anne took great pride on being a frequent blood donor. Surviving are her husband, Wallace Floe of Freeport; four daughters, Laurie (Jeff) Bowar of Prairie Du Chien, WI., Holly (Josh) Compton of Surprise, AZ., Jill (Tom) Williams of Stockton and Terri (Mike) Clark of Polo; step-daughter, Diana (Mike) Mowery of Grove City, OH.; six grandchildren, Jason (Bonnie) Bardell, Justin (Shanelle) Bardell, Whitney Williams, Christine Williams, and Harper and Brady Clark; step-grandson, Michael Cole. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Kalah and Cameron Bardell, Zoie and Zayden Bardell, and Madison and Boston Cole. Also many dear cousins. Anne was preceded in death by her parents; one cousin, David Rudolph; four uncles and one aunt. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Larry Elliott, associate pastor of Park Hills Evangelical Free Church will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m. at Burke Tubbs. Cremation rites will be accorded .
