Anne GordonMargaret Anne Gordon, age 73, of Republic, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, in her home, with family at her side. She was born on February 21, 1943 in Bairdstown, Texas, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Gladys Lorraine (Weatheread) Gordon.Anne loved her garden, her dogs, and listening to anything Elvis Presley. She was sensitive, trustworthy, and independent. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Melva Jayne Aycott.Anna is survived by her siblings, Curtis Babbitt (Pam), Thomas Babbitt, Jean Gordon (Cliff), Kay Soule, and Trina Stevens (Curtis); and numerous nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic Chapel. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017, also in the funeral home.
