Anne Rose LawrenceAGE: 80 • Formerly of VinelandAnne Rose (Sikking) Lawrence, 80, of Lake Oswego, OR & formerly of Vineland, NJ passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016. Anne was under the care of the Marie Rose Center at Mary's Woods in Lake Oswego, Oregon, for Alzheimer's. Anne was born on October 8, 1936 in Vineland, NJ to the late Helen (Schneider) & Cornelius Sikking. She graduated in 1954 from Sacred Heart High School and enjoyed attending their class reunions. Upon graduation, she started her career at Wheaton Plastics in Mays Landing, NJ. Anne was quickly promoted to Wheaton's in New York City and gained recognition as their first woman in sales. In 1976, she moved to Los Angeles, CA pursuing her career in sales of glass containers. It was in Los Angeles that Anne met and married Jim Lawrence. They moved to Oregon City, OR and owned & managed 3 mobile home parks together. Anne was an active member of the St John the Apostle Catholic Church in Oregon. She loved gardening and traveling, especially back east to see family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Jim Lawrence; 2 brothers, Cornelius "Neil" Sikking (Marie), and Jack Sikking (Kay); brother in-law William Necomb as well as several nieces & nephews. Anne was pre deceased by her sister Rose Newcomb in 2011. A memorial mass will be celebrated on January 28, 2017 at the Mary's Woods Chapel in Lake Oswego, OR.
