Wick, Annette CatherineOur beloved daughter, Annette Catherine Wick, passed away Thursday October 12, 2017 at Aurora Hospital in Oshkosh, Wisconsin at the age of 25 years and 25 days, from multi-drug resistant organism aspiration pneumonia. Annette was born on September 17, 1992 at West Allis Memorial Hospital. In her younger years, Annette loved swinging on the swing set, going to parks, music (she had some crazy cool dance moves), watching cartoons, being read to by her parents, going to school, going on vacation trips, going to church, visiting her grandparents and many others she knew, riding her trike, going on walks, doing puzzles, going to the zoo, walking to the gas station with her daddy to use her "cookie money" to buy one of her favorite treats, following and admiring her pet cats and rabbits, and going on fun outings. She also loved going to McDonald's, and could spot the Golden Arches sooner than anyone else in the vehicle she was in! "Donalds!!!!" As the years went by, she was plagued with seizures that made her daily life difficult. Annette still enjoyed outings, going to her day-program and especially liked going on "car rides" and "van rides" and working on puzzles. Annette was very loved by her family and caregivers at various group homes. Annette will be greatly missed by her daddy and mama, Mark and Donna Wick. She will also be missed by her siblings; Jerry (Jacinta), Eddie (Mary) and Grace (Ricardo). Annette was excited to watch her niece, Zellie-Rose when she visited. Annette was so very loved by her grandparents, Ralph and Hildegard Thomas. Annette is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and caregivers. Annette was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerald and Arlene Wick and her pet cats Otis, Almanzo, Sarabi, Apricot and her pet rabbit, Renee. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church, W8272 Forest Avenue Road, Eldorado, WI, 54932. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at the church at 11:00 AM. Annette's healthy corneas will be donated to the Lion's Eye Bank of Wisconsin in hopes that she will help someone else see the beauty in this world. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family, or to Oshkosh Area Humane Society or Fond du Lac Humane Society towards the care of cats and small animals would be greatly appreciated. Until we see you again Annette, enjoy heaven where there are no more seizures and no more pain. We love you and will miss you more than we ever imagined possible.
