On Sunday morning, the 7th of January 2024, Annie Mae Allen Giles’ spirit rose up into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus. Annie loved and served her Lord and there is no doubt that she heard the blessed words, “Well done my good and faithful servant” when she arrived in her Heavenly home.
Annie’s mission in life was to share Jesus with everyone she met. Over the years she volunteered her time with Hospice of the Rapidan where she was Volunteer of the Year in 2000. She was also a volunteer at Culpeper Health and Rehab for over 25 years. Annie loved being part of the family of God at Oakland Baptist Church in Richardsville, VA where she was a dedicated member of the OSR (Oakland Sisters of Richardsville). She was an employee of the Town of Culpeper for over 20 years.
God allowed Annie to live 84 years here on this earth. She was the daughter of Edward Allen and Elsie Davis Allen. Annie was the sister of Elsie, Margaret “Dolly”, and John “Bubby”. She has joined her siblings in Heaven.
When Annie was 17, she married the love of her live, Ronnie Giles and they were blessed with 57 years together. She was so looking forward to spending eternity with him in Heaven where they will be forever together. Annie was the loving, wonderful mother of 5 children; Steve Giles (Patsy), Teresa Hurlock (Tommy), and Ronda Malcolm (Doug). Her son and daughter, Kevin and Cathy will also be welcoming her in Heaven. Annie was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 3 of whom will be joining her in Heaven and 19 great-grandchildren.
Annie wanted everyone to know that you too can be assured of eternal life in Heaven because there is a Savior, His name is Jesus, and He’s waiting for you to surrender your heart to Him.
