Annie Bell Chezem, 81NOBLESVILLE - Annie Bell Chezem, 81, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016. She was born on December 16, 1934 to the late Ewell and Maggie (Nelson) Lawson in Kensett, Arkansas.Annie lived in Tipton County for thirty years, moving to Muncie and then to Noblesville. She graduated from Eastern High School in Greentown in 1951, Indianapolis General Hospital School of Nursing in 1955, and earned a Bachelor Degree of Science from Saint Mary-of-the Woods College in 1977. Annie worked in the field of nursing for fifty-one years, including Tipton County Public Health and the Indiana State Board of Health, retiring in 1996. She married Robert A. Chezem Sr. on March 24, 1956 and they were married for fifty-one years until his death in 2007. Annie is survived by their children, Robert A. Chezem Jr., Shari Anne Chezem, Jo Carol Chezem, and Andrew Blair Chezem; her step-daughters, Deborah Kay Pogue and De Etta Fay Chezem; sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Lawson of Kokomo.A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Forest Park Inn, 701 Cicero Road, in Noblesville.
