It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annie Betters, who departed this world on May 6, 2024, just shy of her 73rd birthday.

Born on May 12, 1951, in the vibrant city of Waco, Texas, Annie brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

She was the beloved daughter of Vickie Lee Betters, who undoubtedly passed down her spunky spirit and sense of humor to her daughter.

Annie lived a full and adventurous life, always ready with a joke or a kind word for those in need. She had a knack for making everyone around her smile, and her charisma was infectious.

Although Annie did not have any children of her own, she touched the lives of countless others including her Niece Elands Smith and great nieces and nephews. Priscilla Walker, Ernesia Bradshaw, Derrico Brown, and Deshawnna smith with her warmth and generosity.

Her absence will surely be felt by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, cracking jokes and spreading joy wherever she may be.

Rest in peace, dear Annie. Your spirit will live on in the hearts of those you left behind.
