Annie James, 79, of Acworth, Georgia, passed on March 02, 2021. Annie was born on December 13, 1941 to the late parents Edna Mercer and Jessie Mercer. She was a devoted wife of 30 years to her late husband Mr. John James. She grew up in the church and joined Zion Baptist Church as a devoted member where she served more than 30 years on the usher board. Her and her husband had two children.

Annie will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Angela Flemister(Calvin) and Kimberly James, both of Acworth, Ga. As well as two grandchidren, India and Brandon Flemister.

She will also be fondly remembered by her surviving siblings, Sara Mercer of Boca Raton, FL., Ernestine Cooper and Alberta Jacob, both of Atlanta, GA. Two brothers, Johnny Mercer of Americus, GA. and Jessie James Mercer of Stone Mountain, GA.

Annie is preceeded in death by four brothers, Mr. Lonnie Mercer, Freddie Mercer, Eddie James Mercer, and Emory Charles Mercer.

A host of neices and nephews also survived, imvluding two devoted neices, Alice Mercer and Brenda Harris.
