Anthony William Spears was born Sept 7 1949 in Des Moines Iowa and lived in a variety of places throughout his lifetime including Chicago Illinois, New York City New York, Los Angeles & Modesto California, and Atlanta Georgia. He served in the Vietnam War as a Marine in July 1970 where he was discharged honorably in May 1971. He was a profound member of the African Methodist Church. Sept 2015 Anthony lost his spouse Linnell Garrett-Spears but after 7 long years he will finally be able to join her in peace. He was a proud father and grandfather, anybody that knew Anthony knew he cherished his family and would give the sweater off his back for those he loved dearly.
