Templeton, Anthony Allen Jun. 16, 1947 - Oct. 2, 2015 Anthony Allen Templeton, 68 of Sarasota, FL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday Oct. 2nd, 2015. He passed after a long and good fight with Kidney Disease. He was surrounded by his many family members who loved and cared for him every day. He was born on June 16th 1947 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina to his parents Mildred Anna Jean Baker (Templeton) & Wilfred Sidney Templeton. He served our Country in the Air Force. He worked in the Automobile Industry all his life. He was involved in the family business operating his own Cadillac Dealership in N.C. He is survived by his Children, Michelle Rego, Seth Templeton, John-Christian Templeton & Matthew Greene; his three grandchildren, Haley Baker, Jacob Rego and Adaline Templeton; his two siblings, Stephen Templeton and Pamela Templeton. Anthony's former wife Sara Grottick and Husband Kevin Grottick were greatly involved by helping act as his caregivers helping his family take care of his daily needs. Anthony's only priorities were to God and his family first. He loved making friends and he made many with his positive happy spirit. He was a shining light to all who loved him and always fought 'To Make Things Happen' every day. Everyone that knew him said he was one of the 'Special Ones'. He will be forever missed leaving us too soon. Anthony made such an impact that he will continue to live on through all who were touched by him. His family invites you to attend his service this Wednesday Oct. 7th 11:30am at the National Cemetery on Clark Road, East of interstate 75, followed by 1:30pm service at First Baptist Church off Main St. Downtown Sarasota.
