Cerasaro, Anthony J.Anthony J. Cerasaro, of Endicott, NY and Quaker Lake, PA., passed peacefully to his eternal rest Monday evening April 24, 2017. He was born on the Northside of Endicott on July 14, 1940. He was predeceased by his parents Hank and Polly Cerasaro, his brother and sister-in-law Paul M. and Gay Cerasaro and his nephew Brad Conklin. He is survived by his wife Sandra Major, Quaker Lake, PA., his brother Victor Cerasaro, Vestal, his mother-in-law Barbara Rydzewski, Montrose, PA., two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law Susan Major-Conklin, New Milford, PA., Billie Kaye and David Kraus, Harrisburg, PA., his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Stephen and Melanie Major, Montrose, PA., nephews Richard Cerasaro, Patrick Cerasaro, Jared Conklin, Colby Major and Justin Richel, nieces Susan (Bud) Schmidt, Karen Cerasaro and Mary Norton, Morgan Major, and Alyvia Richel, his great nephew Ben Schmidt, his great niece and her husband Heidi and Jordan Geertgens, also many cousins and dear friends. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, a graduate of Union Endicott High School and Tulane University where he received his degree in Engineering, he was a proud Green Wave Alumni who played third base for Tulane University Baseball, he was the founder of A.J. Cerasaro, Inc., he was the founding partner of Cerasaro, Roma & Roma, LLC., and a partner of Skate Estate, Vestal,NY, he developed extensive commercial projects throughout upstate New York, he was involved with the Endicott Boy's and Girl's Club, he was a member of the Duca Degli Abruzzi Lodge #443 order of Sons of Italy in America, a former member of En-Joie Golf Club, and a founder of the Little Endicott project on Endicott's Northside, he enjoyed playing golf, horse racing, spending time with his family and friends, and his trips to Freeport Grand Bahamas. Tony will always be remembered for the twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes, and his warm and friendly smile. He was always a gentleman, a hand shake to anyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday April 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm at St. Anthony of Padua Church 306 Odell Ave. Endicott. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Friday from 11:00 am until time of funeral mass at 1:00 pm.
