Anthony Michael Parco passed away in his home Monday, August 10, 2015. Anthony was born May 25, 1988, in Monterey, CA.
From the time he was little, he always had a tremendous amount of energy and a huge heart. He was ambitious, creative, intelligent, and had a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He was always looking out for others. Whether he was helping someone in need, lifting a heavy heart, or fixing a car, he was always brightening everyone's day. He had an infectious laugh that on your worst days, could put a smile on your face.
When he was about 10 years old, he loved fishing down at the old cement boat pier in Capitola during the summer. Being Anthony, he decided to start making and selling fly fishing hooks he handcrafted himself. On a single day, he made over $400 with the help of little sister Krystina, who he put in the back of his red wagon and wheeled around the neighborhood making sales.
He also loved skating, skateboarding, paintballing, wakeboarding, and tinkering with things, trying to make them more efficient and more useful. His hobbies led him to develop a passion for working on vehicles. He obtained an Associate of Occupation Studies Degree from Universal Technical Institute in Sacramento. During his time at UTI, he was often found drifting cars wherever he could, much to the dismay of Sacramento police department. For the next several years he bought, sold, and repaired cars with the burning passion to have a better life with his son Michael.
Michael and Anthony loved each other very much. They were not just father and son, but best friends with an unbreakable bond. They were always playing games in the house, playing with their puppy, Sparrow, or snuggling up watching TV together. Anthony never loved anyone as much as he did his son.
Anthony is survived by his son, Michael Anthony Parco. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Laurie Parco, brother, Andrew Parco, and sister, Krystina Parco, of Salinas; his father, Cosmo Parco, and his brother, Rome Parco, of Chico. He is dearly missed by his best friend, Alex Cordone of Salinas.
