Anthony F. (Tony) Seiberlich1926 - 2014Anthony F. Tony Seiberlich, 88, Paddock Lake, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Manor Care.He was born on April 18, 1926, in Milwaukee to the late Anton J. and Eleanor (Mitschke) Seiberlich.He attended St. Georges grade school and St. Catherines high school, Racine, Wis. During
WWII, he served in the US Navy, 10th Beach Battalion in the Pacific. Following service, Tony was employed as bar manager for the Towne Casino, foreman at City Lumber and retired from Riley Construction, Kenosha. In retirement, Tony enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and being up North.While his sons were growing up he was a St. Lukes Pioneer Leader, retired member of Laborers Local 237/113, Member of: National Catholic Society of Foresters, Valley Corps Confederate Re-enactors, Cushings Union Artillery Battery and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of New Munster, WI.On March 8, 1969, in Marquette, Mich., Tony was united in marriage to Carol Guidebeck Nyland and they recently celebrated their 45th anniversary. Survived by stepdaughter Christine (Donald) Fox. Also survived by children of his first marriage: Robert, Paul and Richard and daughters Karen (Dave) Gahart and Sandra Threlkeld.Survived by two step grandchildren, Christopher (Mandy) Fox and Michele (Rob) Faust and grandchildren Kevin (Debbie), Ken, Kurtis, Robert and April Seiberlich, Brian, Jill and James Gahart, Greg, Steve and Lorri Streblow.Will be missed most by those who enjoyed his love and attention: six step great grandchildren, Jaxon, Ryleigh and Peyton Faust, Mayson, Chase and Gracy Fox. Survived by 13 grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren, but especially remembering him are great granddaughters, Lauren, Melissa, Maddie and Allie Seiberlich.Survived by sisters: Therese Bonfiglio, Marie Musial, Jean (Ed) Musial, Betty (Lyle) Fox, brothers-in-law Dick (Christine) Guidebeck, Bob Ludwig and Jim LaSota and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by the up north relatives who appreciated him for just being who he was.Preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth H.; younger sisters, Ellen LaSota and Rita Ludwig and brother-in-law, Ted Musial.We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. R. Ranieri, the North Wing Medical Staff at Manor Care and Hospice Alliance for their dedicated care, support and friendship. Tony will be forever missed and loved, but never forgotten. We know he is dancing with Ellen and Rita every polka played in heaven.Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (6301 344th Avenue, New Munster). Friends may visit on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass on Saturday. Entombment will be private.
