Anthony Thomas RacioppiAnthony Thomas Racioppi, age 62, formerly of North Bergen and Long Branch, passed away on July 15, 2017, at his home in Las Vegas, NV. He was born on Dec. 22, 1954, in Jersey City and raised in North Bergen. He graduated from North Bergen High School and joined the Navy, where he served on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier. He then spent many years living and working at the shore before moving to Las Vegas in 2007. Anthony was a sweet man who loved Jesus Christ, the Catholic religion, the New York Yankees and his brothers and sisters, children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Anna. He is survived by his sons, Dustin Racioppi and his wife, Heather, of Wanamassa, and Daniel Racioppi and his wife, Lynsey, of Las Vegas; granddaughter Sunny Racioppi of Wanamassa and grandson Jacob Racioppi of Las Vegas; his sister, Karen Heusser, of Maywood, and brothers Kenny Klusmeyer of Margate, Steven Racioppi of Old Bridge and David Racioppi of North Bergen. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, August 19th, at Elberon Memorial Church, 70 Park Ave., Long Branch.
