Antionette Peterson, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 13, 2024 in Detroit, Michigan. She was born on February 26, 1948 in Birmimgham Alabama,to Arthur and Mildred Peterson.
Antionette leaves behind her three children, Kimberly Peterson, Carlita Collier, and Denise Collier. She was also adored by her ten grandchildren, Tiquana, Shancee, Divionda, Bishop, Anthony, Jeremy, Markees, Deja, Nya, Kamonte, and nine great grandchildren, Patrick, Jayden, Kaden, Harmony,Symphony,Jamora,Nova,Kimora,and Amira. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherised her family above all else.
Antionette attended East Community High School of Buffalo New York, in 1965 she went on to Detroit to move with her grandparents Mildred and Booker T Higgins where she resided and continued her education and went on to work at Uni Cleaners of Detroit MI, where she dedicated many years of hard work before retiring in 2006.
Antionette had many hobbies, including Dancing,Listening to the blues, she loved cooking and barbequing,and playing with her grandkids and making the most out of every moment, she refused to let life pass her by. She was a devoted member of her church (Eastside Church of God) and found great joy in her faith. Antionette was a kind-hearted soul who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Antionette Peterson passed away after a courageous battle with stage four cancer. Her strength and resilience throughout her illness were admirable and she will always be remembered for her courage,She will be remembered fondly and greatly missed by all who knew her.
Antionette was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
