Antonia Perozzi1916 - 2014Antonia Toni Perozzi, 97, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2014, at the Canterbury Home.Toni was born on March 31, 1916, the daughter of the late Adorno and Magdalena (Angelini) Pascucci. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was united in marriage to Ernest Perozzi at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church on Oct. 6, 1934. Over the course of 65 years together, they built a home, raised a family and carved out long careers at American Motors Corporation.Toni was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Holy Rosary Alter Society and an original member the Italian American Womens Auxiliary. She was widely recognized throughout Kenosha for her homemade pasta, biscotti and wedding cookies and devoted countless hours to making these specialties for the churchs annual festivals. In addition, she derived great pleasure from knitting and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Marjorie Dittrich; brother, Nello DiLetti and Emil and Eugene Pascucci; sister, Sophie Werve and son-in-law, Dr. Ronald Rudy.Surviving are her daughter, Perine Petie Rudy; son, William (Claudia) Perozzi; ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren who were the source of great pride and joy in her life. All of them will miss her generosity, constant prayers and unconditional love. Her sister Adeline DeAngelis also survives her.The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Diane and Mark Montemurro, Judy Jensen and the staff at Canterbury for their kind and loving care.A memorial Mass and celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
