It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arlis Freeman, who was born on 03/05/1954 and passed away on 04/15/2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States.

Arlis was a loving partner to Annabell Freeman and a devoted parent to their three children: Tonia Freeman (babygirl), Henry packed with spouse Arline Gilbert, and Rashad Freeman with spouse Alice Mae Young. They also leaves behind five grandchildren.

Arlis studied at Green Oaks High School and graduated in 1954, before continuing their education in the Military and graduating in 1968. They went on to work as a retired veteran, retiring in 1971 after many years of dedicated service. Arlis served in the Military as a General in the Deconda unit for 8 years.

Outside of work, Arlis enjoyed indulging in their hobby of mechanics, always tinkering and fixing things with a skilled hand.

Arlis will be remembered for their kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering love for their family. They will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved them.
