Armando Barragan, 90 years old, a native and life-long resident of El Paso, Texas, passed away quietly in his home on October 5, 2017. They had two children, son Louis and daughter Laura. Armando worked for Western Cotton Oil at the Globe Mills, and at Farah Manufacturing Co., where he worked for over 30 years and retired as an accounting supervisor. Armando and Alice loved having family barbecues and gatherings in their home with their family; spending Sundays with family watching football, playing cards or dominoes, or shooting pool. He and Alice were founding members of the Roadrunners Club, where they pursued and perfected their jitterbug dance moves with their lifelong friends. Armando was a voracious reader and avid history buff. Armando is survived by his beloved spouse, Alice Hirsch Barragan, son Louis E. Barragan Sr. and his spouse Deborah G.
