FREMONT — Arnold G. Krauskopf, 87, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at Visiting Nurses and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Mr. Krauskopf was a tool maker for Zollner Piston Corp. for 43 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont and a former member of the Sertoma Club. Mr. Krauskopf was a 1944 graduate of Central High School in Fort Wayne and served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He was born on July 28, 1926, in Fort Wayne to Otto Conrad and Hilda Marie (Gebhard) Krauskopf. He married Donna Jean Miller on June 16, 1951, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. She preceded him in death July 16, 2009. Surviving is a son, Steven (Cindy) Krauskopf of Fremont; and three daughters, Janis (Michael) Wyss of Hoagland, Sandra (Gale) Weller of Woodburn and Nancy (David) Church of Fremont; a brother, Leonard Krauskopf of Fort Wayne; a sister, Adeline Cutigni of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont with Pastors Wayne C. Berkesch and Chad L. Potts officiating. Burial will be in West Jamestown Cemetery. calling 1 hour prior to services. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S.
