Arthur Peel, Jr.1940 - 2016Arthur Peel, Jr., 75, of Kenosha died peacefully at Aurora Medical Center-Kenosha on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016.Arthur was born on Aug. 17, 1940, in Gary, Ind., the son of the late Arthur and Esther (Turner) Peel, Sr. He was educated in the schools of Chicago. Arthur was united in marriage to Frances Charles on Aug. 30, 1975, in Chicago. They moved to Kenosha in 1983. He was employed as a computer programmer and analyst for Navistar International (formerly International Harvester.) Arthur was a member of 2nd Baptist Church of Kenosha. He was an officer in the Racine Chess Club. His hobbies included playing in chess tournaments in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and New York, and listening to music, especially his jazz, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.He is survived his wife of 40 years, Frances Peel of Kenosha; a brother, Wardell Peel of Key west, Fla.; a nephew, Nahji Peel of Glendale Heights; two nieces, Zhanea (Peel) Weber and Toni (Peel) Monroe; godson, Andre' (Crystal) Coleman of Tinley Park; his two longtime friends, Ronald (Eloise) Coleman of Chicago, Edward Smith of Oakland, Calif.; and a host of cousins.
