Harlingen, TX - Arturo G. Lopez, age 81, passed away December 14, 2016. Arturo was born on July 1, 1935, son of Ventura and Eloisa Lopez.He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Aurora Flores and Clarita Garza; and son, Arturo Lopez Jr.Arturo is survived by his wife, Delia G. Lopez; sisters, Alicia Lopez and Gloria Ramos; daughter, Sylvia Loya (Victor); sons, Armando Lopez and Adan Lopez; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Lopez; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m.Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 2 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery.Honored to serve as pallbearers are his grandsons.
