Ashley Michelle Robinson Ashley Michelle Robinson was born on December 19, 1984 in Fairbanks, Alaska to Leslie and Sharon Robinson. She was the youngest of two children. She attended Heritage Christian School, Lochburn Middle School, and graduated from Clover Park High School in 2003. Ashley was a born leader. As early as elementary school, her teachers saw her leadership qualities and her positive influence on the other students. In middle school, she was a member of the basketball and volleyball teams. She was also part of a steel drum group that traveled and performed at various locations throughout the state. While at Clover Park High School, Ashley was a member of the Girl's Basketball Team and was ROTC Chaplain. In her senior year she was Student Body President and Homecoming Queen. In 2007 Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences and Human Development from Washington State University, and in 2010 she earned her Master of Science degree in Human Services from Post University. Her professional career included working as a Child Protective Services Social Worker for the Washington State Department of Social and Human Services and as a Community Support Worker for New Horizons in Columbus, Georgia. On August 15 she passed away after a long struggle with encephalitis. Her bright and fun-loving personality will be missed. She leaves behind her father Leslie, mother Sharon, brother Brian, boyfriend Brandon, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many, many friends. Viewing will be held from 6:00-9:00 PM Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Mountain View Funeral Home.
