Atanacio (Tane) Valtierra Hernandez, 85, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed on April 11, 2023 surrounded by his loving wife and children. Atanacio (Tane) was born on February 22,1938 in Millsap, Texas to Simon and Patriciana Valtierra Hernandez. He married Maria Ninfa Hernandez on July 22, 1975. They resided in Bennett Texas where they had two children then they moved to Mineral Wells in 1980. Tane worked at Acme Brick in Bennett Texas for 40 years until he retired.

Atanacio is survived by his wife Maria Ninfa Hernandez, Son Victor Manuel Hernandez, Daughter Maria Isabel (Izzy) Hernandez, Granddaughter Cassandra Hernandez, Great Granddaughter Penelope Hernandez, Sisters Esperenza and Petra, Multiple Nephews, nieces, cousins, adopted Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Tane was loved by everyone who came in contact with him and he will be very missed.

A private memorial for the family will be held at a later date.
