Atsie Lee Dugger, 85, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home with burial following at Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Kansas. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at McGilley & Frye. Flowers, contributions to Olathe Hospice House or Powell Gardens are welcome. Atsie was born on March 6, 1931, in Hamilton, Alabama, to Henry Booker and Icy (Wiginton) Holcomb. She attended Chillicothe Business School, and then worked as a secretary for a Patent Law Firm in Kansas City before marrying the love of her life, Aubrey Dale Dugger. They had a wonderful 60 year marriage before his passing in 2011. Atsie exemplified her strong faith in God through her strong devotion and the way she lived her life. She loved gardening and had many beautiful plants around her yard. She worked for the Johnson County Election Office as a voting official for a number of years. She also served on the Cedar House Auxiliary and enjoyed being a Menninger Bible School Leader. Her love of nature, especially butterflies and birds, was passed on to many of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, daughter Katherine Hawley, and brothers M.C. and A.T. Holcomb. Atsie is survived by her daughter, Susan (Greg) Robertson of Overland Park; grandson Theron (Valerie) Hawley of Lawrence; great-grandchildren Gavin and Isabelle Hawley; brother L.D. (Bonnie) Holcomb of Olathe; and many loving nieces and nephews. She will be missed greatly and loved forever! Condolences may be offered at www.McGilley-
