It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Alex, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and member of the Rosemère community. Audrey was born on July 6, 2008, and tragically left this world on July 7, 2023, at the tender age of 15.

Audrey was a vibrant and spirited individual who lived her life to the fullest. From a young age, she exuded an infectious joy that touched the hearts of those around her. She had an uncanny ability to lighten the mood in any room and effortlessly brought smiles to people's faces.

Known for her boundless curiosity, Audrey had an insatiable appetite for knowledge. She was a dedicated student, always eager to explore new subjects and excel academically. Audrey's thirst for learning did not end in the classroom; she voraciously consumed books from a wide array of genres, which only fueled her passion for writing.

Audrey possessed an extraordinary imagination and would craft intricate stories that transported her readers to magical worlds. Whether it was through her poetry or short stories, she had a remarkable ability to evoke emotions and touch the hearts of all who read her work. Audrey dreamed of becoming a published author, and her words will forever be etched in our memories.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Audrey was an avid lover of nature. She often found solace in the outdoors, whether it was taking long walks in the nearby forest or spending summers camping with her family. Audrey deeply appreciated the beauty of the world around her and felt a profound connection to animals.

Audrey's infectious energy extended to her relationships with others. She was a compassionate and empathetic friend, always willing to lend an ear or offer a shoulder to cry on. Audrey had a way of making everyone feel seen and heard, ensuring that no one ever felt alone in their struggles. Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered.

Audrey's unwavering positivity and courage were truly remarkable. Despite facing personal challenges, she never let them dim her light or dampen her spirits. Her resilience and strength inspired everyone who knew her and taught us the importance of embracing each day with gratitude and a smile.

Audrey Alex will be forever missed and fondly remembered by her loved ones, her parents, her grandparents; extended family; and her wide circle of friends and acquaintances. Her memory will live on through the joy she brought into the world and the everlasting impact she made on those who were lucky enough to share in her journey.

A private funeral service will be held to celebrate Audrey's life and honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Audrey Alex Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will be established to support aspiring young writers in their pursuit of higher education.
