With the biggest of hearts she was as peaceful and yet as daunting as the mountains she loved so much. Aundrea Socha showed all of us how to be selfless and kind in an unkind world. She grew up always wanting to fly and through persistence and hard work, she achieved her highest of dreams. Mother to Sophia Lyla Corrine, she was most proud to be a be a great mom and shower her Boogie with as much love as any mother has ever given to their child.
A graduate of Mainland High School, she was a very skilled soccer player, and top of her class as a student bound for greatness. She loved reading and many times went through handfuls of books each week.
Her life took an unexpected but beautiful turn when she gave birth to her daughter Sophia whom instantly became the center of, and purpose for her life. Aundrea loved doing crafts with and taking a near unfathomable amount of pictures of her and Sophia every chance she got.
Regardless of probably being the smartest person you would be ever meet, all she ever wanted to be was a Flight Attendant from a very early age. Eventually she achieved her highest career goals by being a Flight Attendant for both Miami Air and later Aligent Airlines. She cherished every minute flying the friendly skies.
Aundrea was also dedicated toward helping others. She touched more people's lives in a positive way than we will every fully know. Whether at work or at the grocery store, she always stopped to brighten someone's day. She was especially dedicated to helping the homeless and never turned down an opportunity to give whatever she had, to make someones situation just that little bit better. Even if all she could give was a conversation of empathy and encouragement, she never wanted to turn down someone in need.
Aundrea leaves behind her daughter Sophia, her husband Joseph, her mother Terri, and countless amounts of friends and family whom she loved with such great passion.
