Coppens, Aurelia B.Aurelia B. Coppens, 100, Green Bay, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was born on April 30, 1916, in Luxemburg, WI to Peter and Monica (Altmann) Dorner.Aurelia married Raymond Coppens on May 20, 1939. For many years, they had a small farm on Ridge Road. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1994. Before she married, Aurelia worked as a housekeeper for Curly Lambeau. Aurelia loved painting, canning, gardening, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and volunteering at St. Vincent dePaul and at St. Agnes Parish. She also loved chocolates and sweets. Aurelia had travelled to all of the 48 continental states and Australia.She is survived by her children, James (friend, Karen) Coppens, Sally (Reggie) Vande Hei, Nancy (Jim) Ayers, David (Isabelle) Coppens, Mark (friend, Deb) Coppens, and Gary (Jenny) Coppens; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Peter (Lois) Dorner.Aurelia was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; daughter-in-law, Jean; grandson, Johnny Coppens; her parents; and her siblings, Killian, Clarence, Joey, and Hubert.Friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with Rev. Patrick C. Beno officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
