Aurelia Y. Ochoa, 97, of Yuma, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Yuma Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 5, 1916 in La Bonita, Arizona. Aurelia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; she will be greatly missed but she is safe in the Lord's arms now and forever. From two beautiful souls to the family we are today. She is preceded in death by her husband Abraham Ochoa; daughter, Helen Chaparro; sons, Gabriel, Edward, and Abraham Ochoa. She is survived by sons, Raul Ochoa (Roseanne) of Yuma, Gilbert Ochoa (Hortence) of Hacienda Heights, California; daughter, Amelia Garcia of Yuma; sister, Ramona Santa Cruz of Yuma; 26 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren, 62 great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel, 795 W 28th St, Yuma. Mass will be on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church, 505 S. Ave. B, Yuma at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Desert Lawn Cemetery.
