We are saddened to announce the passing of Ava Ray, who left this world on August 22, 2024, in Washington DC, District of Columbia. She was born on February 3, 2013, to her loving parents Charles Ray and Michelle Wright.

Ava brought joy and laughter to all who knew her during her time on earth. She attended Harry Middle School and High School where she excelled in her studies and made lasting friendships. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Although she had no children of her own, Ava's kind and caring nature touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her love of adventure, and her unwavering optimism.

While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that Ava's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Rest in peace, dear Ava, may your journey to the next life be filled with light and love.
