Lifetime resident of New Fairfield CT, Barbara Jean Wyskiel passed away on July 20th 2023 at home surrounded by her family. After a long exhausting six year battle with ovarian Cancer she is now at peace. Barbara was born on October 26th 1965 at Danbury Hospital. After Barbara graduated from New Fairfield High School in 1984 she went on to have three daughters Corinne Zerrenner, Eileen Banks, and Priscilla Zerrenner. Spending 40 years together with her partner John Zerrenner of New Fairfield.

Barbara truly enjoyed driving the school bus for the children of New Fairfield schools for 25 years. She loved to spend time on the lake with her friends and family listening and dancing to music. Zac Brown band was one of her favorites. Also taking Spontaneous trips to Rhode Island and St.Pete Beach, her happy places. Many of you Know her as Barbzilla, she had a tremendous amount of strength and will be remembered by her fierce attitude and spunky personality. Barbara has six grandchildren Mariah, Chloe, Arianna, Luke, Avery, and Wesley who she loved unconditionally. She will be deeply missed by her parents Patricia and Richard Wyskiel along with her sisters Cathy Wyskiel, Tracy Franklin, Sandy Amorando, and Carol Lane. Barbara is predeceased by her sister Karen Wyskiel. Services will be held on August 5th at St.Edwards Church in New Fairfield at 11:00a.m Luncheon will immediately follow at Biscotti’s Resturante.
