Barbara Blazier, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and active community member, passed away on May 24, 2024 in Monroe, Louisiana at the age of 73.

Barbara was born on March 22, 1951 to Melvin Foster Horn and Helen Louise Osborn Horn in Monroe, Louisiana. She married the love of her life, Dale Rodney Blazier, in 1971 and together they had two wonderful daughters, Angela M. Fox and Tiffany L. Harris.

Barbara was a dedicated employee at Rite Aid for many years, where she brightened the days of both her coworkers and customers with her infectious smile and positive attitude. Outside of work, Barbara had a passion for animals and spent countless hours volunteering at the Humane Society of Ouachita Parish.

Barbara was adored by her family, including her daughters, sons-in-law David Fox and Frank Newhouse II, and her three precious grandchildren Ty, Courtney & LaKendrick. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Ouachita Parish in Barbara's memory.
