BARBARA L. CHRISTEN, 73 FREEPORT - Barbara L. Christen, 73, of Freeport passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013, in her home. She was born on Jan. 13, 1940, in Forreston, a daughter of Marvyn and Norma (Harmon) Buntjer. Barbara was a 1958 Graduate of Forreston High School. She was married to Ward Senn, Wayne Ledbetter, Mike Harris, and Fay Christen who preceded her on Feb. 13, 2013. Surviving are her son, Mark (Marie) Senn; grandsons, Alex, Brandon, and Austin; sisters, Annette (Steve) Thompson, Cathy (Daryl) Starr, and Penny (Dewey) Beggs; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by all four husbands; a brother-in-law; and her parents. Funeral service will be on Thursday, May 9, at 7 p.m. at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd., Freeport, with Rev. Bill Heck of Faith Life Fellowship officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel.
