Barbara Hall FurrowAnderson, SCMrs. Barbara Hall Furrow, 77, of Anderson, SC passed away on May 20th, 2017 at her home. Barbara was the daughter of the late William Stuart Hall and Lucy Estelle Sampsell born on September 3, 1939 in Arlington, VA. Barbara attended Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, VA. She served as a church secretary most of her working life and wore many different "hats" as that person. She and her husband Dorsey were members of Concord Baptist Church in Anderson, SC. Surviving are her husband: Dorsey T. Furrow of their home; two children: Jennifer Lynn Wiegand and husband Brandon of Carlisle, PA and Jeffrey Alan Furrow and wife Amanda of Clermont, FL; two grandchildren: Lindsey Lee and James Dorsey Furrow; and two brothers: Donald Davis Hall and wife Joan of Fredericksburg, VA and William Stuart Hall of Anderson, SC. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a son: Kevin Dorsey.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church in Anderson, SC with Dr. Don Cox and Reverend Randy Blank officiating. Interment will follow in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery. The Furrow family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 23, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home.
