Barbara A. Kirsch1930 - 2015Barbara A. Kirsch, 84, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at the Hospice House.She was born on Aug. 17, 1930, to the late Harold and Myrtle (Gran) Engdahl in Chicago, Ill. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from the Kenosha Vocational School.She married Robert J. Kirsch on Sept. 2, 1950 in Kenosha. He preceded her in death in 1985.Barbara worked at Simmons for a few years then worked for Tri-Clover for 27 years, retiring on July 14, 1994.Barbara was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir for many years and a member of the Dorcus Group "Quilters Club" at the church. She was also a member of OPEIU Local #336.Barbara enjoyed sewing, all crafts, painting and golfing. She loved going up north to her cottage in Lakewood.Barbara is survived by her sons, Paul (Eva) Kirsch and Randy Kirsch, both of Kenosha and her dog Mitzy.She is preceded in death by two brothers, Harold "Duke" and Ted Engdahl.A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church (2006 – 60th St). Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
