Barbara R. Wash, 80MUNCIE - Barbara R. Wash, 80, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Waters of Yorktown.Barbara was born on July 3, 1936 in Muncie to Lawrence and Edith (Sharp) Guthrie.  She was a 1954 graduate of Muncie Central High School.  On March 12, 1955, Barbara married Douglas Wash.  Together they would raise their six children, living in several different cities over the years.Barbra worked in banking in Muncie and Washing D.C. She previously attended the Temple Baptist Church in Muncie, where she sung in the choir.  Barbara most recently attended the Rushville Baptist Church.She is survived by her children, Rodney Wash Emily Campbell (Larry Wayne), Jonathon Wash (Patty), Joseph Wash (Kim), and Tracy Allen (Nathan); a sister, Martha Chestnut; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and her son-in-law, Steve Siscoe.In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas and her daughter, Melanie Siscoe.Funeral services will be held  at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S.
