Soper, Barbara (Bubacz)Barbara (Bubacz) Soper, 68, of Gillett, PA passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Robert M. "Boney" Soper who passed away July 9, 2009.Barb was born on June 8, 1948 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Wituchi) Bubacz and enjoyed crafts, flowers, and traveling.Barbara is survived by her children: David (Karen) Soper of Reading, PA, Robyn Soper of Mechanicsburg, PA, Michael (Debra) Banks of Gillett, PA, Robert "BJ" (Debbie) Soper of Carson City, NV, Richard Banks of Harrisburg, PA, and Donald Banks of Wasola, MO, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her brothers: Danny Bubacz of Mount Joy, PA, Frank Bubacz of Franklin, NC, and Matthew Bubacz of Horseheads, NY, along with several nieces and nephews. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Boney, her daughters Michelle Soper and Shannon Elaine Soper, her brothers: Andrew "Jim" Bubacz, William Bubacz, Kenneth Bubacz, and Donald Bubacz, and her sister Lorraine Myers. Family and friends are welcome to call from 12:00-1:00 pm on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main St. Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Barbara's life will be held at the conclusion of the visitation on Monday, April 10th at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Micky Cavanaugh of Gillett Baptist Church officiating.
