Barry Laughton Sr., 68, of Derry, New Hampshire, passed on January 15, 2023. Barry was born on November 24, 1954 to the late Hubert A. Laughton and the late Dorothy P. (Robinson) Laughton. He also joins his late brother Jeffrey M. Laughton., Barry has passed away after a long illness.
He was born in Fall River, Ma., attended school there and in Haverhill, Ma. After being honorably discharged from the US Army in 1980 he was introduced to his wife Nancy to whom he married only a few short months later and remained married for 42 years. Barry worked in the food service industry for many years and after retirement he worked as a monitor for special needs children.
Barry enjoyed visiting the White Mountains and the Lakes Region where the family spent many vacations. He and Nancy enjoyed the Dinner Dances at the Elks Hall in Nashua with their friends. He loved watching the New England Patriots, the Red Sox and NASCAR series.
He is survived by his wife of over 42 years Nancy B.(Bourassa) Laughton of Derry, NH, his three children Glorya P.(Laughton) Alexander (engaged to) Matt Amadon, Stacie M. Laughton, Nathan A. Laughton, Grandsons Ayden C. Laughton and Jake Amadon. Sister, Mrs. Kathleen Dunham(Raymond) of Newburyport, Ma., brothers, Mr. Bruce A. Laughton( Lynn Perkins)of Nashua, N.H. , Mr. Brian K. Laughton (Joni Janowski) of Leominster, Ma. , as well as many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements: Following the cremation at the Peabody Funeral Home there are no calling hours or graveside burial. As he wished to be close to family.

The family invites family and friends to to join us for a Celebration of Barry’s life on Sunday January 29, 2023 at 1pm at the Fairways Clubhouse.
