KENDALLVILLE — Barry A. Harden, 63, of Kendallville died on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on Nov. 12, 1952, in Barstow, California, to the late Dannie Harden and Twylia (Anderson) Hakey. Barry most recently worked for Gordon's Campground, helping with ground keeping and maintenance. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Ryan Harden of Columbia City; brothers, Jerry (Nueva) Harden of Hamilton, Roger (Barb) Hakey of Kendallville, John (Lisa Goodwrench) Hakey of Ohio, and Mark Hakey of Angola; and sisters, Bonnie Crabtree of Tennessee, and Tina (David) Hicks of Kendallville. Also surviving are his stepmother, Phyllis Harden of Fort Wayne; stepbrother, Philip Hakey of Albion; half brothers, Dell Harden of Mississippi and Scott Harden of Fort Wayne; and half sisters, Donnell Harden, Shelly Harden and Tonya Harden, all of Fort Wayne. He has one grandchild, Addisyn Ryan Smith, also surviving. He was preceded in death by his parents; and half brothers, Tony and Dale. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N. Main St., Avilla, with visitation one hour prior.
