FAIRBORN — Barry Lynn "Bub" Bishop, 63, of Fairborn, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. He was born on November 11, 1952, in Dayton, the son of the Winford Estill and Geneva A. (Morgan) Bishop. Barry worked for The Yost Superior Company for 20 years and later retired from General Motors. He was an active supporter of Military Working Dogs. He is survived by his mother, Geneva, his wife of 31 years, Donna Jean (Wiles) Bishop of Fairborn, daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and David Adams of Fairborn, granddaughter, Avinell Adams, his son Brett Bishop (girlfriend, Meg), sister Diana Bishop, niece, Erica (Rob) Wise, father-in-law, Don Wiles, and cousin, Jerry Nunley who was compassionate, caring, loving and closer than a brother…a true caregiver. He also enjoyed motorcycles and his beloved baby Boxer, "Gretta Jean." A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016, from 2-4:00 p.m. in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home where a celebration of his life will be held following visitation at 4:00 p.m. Private burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
