WATERFORD - Age 81, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Linden Grove in Mukwonago. Beatrice was born on April 24, 1931 in Mansfield, MI to the late Charles and Laura Rose (nee Lane) Colony. She spent her early life and received her education in Mansfield, graduating from Crystal Falls High School. On August 18, 1956 in Milwaukee, Beatrice was united in marriage to J. Neal Covert. Neal preceded her in death in July of 1978. She then was united in marriage to Alfred O. Hauke on September 14, 1985. Alfred preceded her in death on June 13, 2005. Following her marriages she resided in Milwaukee and Waterford. Beatrice has been a resident of Waterford since 1985. Beatrice worked for the VA Hospital in Milwaukee in the Speech and Audiology Department. She enjoyed watching football and was an avid Steelers Fan. She loved raising flowers and loved to travel to Vegas. Beatrice is survived by her son Dennis (Connie) Hauke , grandchildren Jim Hauke, Jodi Boyer and Tammi Boyer and great-grandchildren Kendra and Alec Boyer all of Waterford, grandchildren Mike Lauff of Ashville, NC, Karl Lauff of San Francisco, CA, Erich Lauff of Durhan, NC, and Karen (Charles) Wannmaker of Boston, MA., her twin sister Bernice Colony of Burlington and her sister-in-law, Antje Colony of St. Germaine. She is also survived by niece, Jeanne (Eric) Seebacher of Milwaukee, nephew, Lee (Anna) Colony of Milwaukee, other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a daughter Kathy Lauff and by her 7 siblings. Inurnment will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. Memorials have been suggested to the or the Blind Society of Wisconsin. Beatrice wanted to give a special Thank you to Dennis (Connie) Hauke, Joe (Louise) Reis and Jeanne Seebacher for all their love, support, and help over the years.
