Beatrice Ann Molina "Betty"Ventura, CABeatrice Ann "Betty" Molina, 79, of Ventura, passed away on Saturday night, June 3, 2017 at her home. Betty was born on November 27, 1937 in Moorpark and was a lifelong county resident. She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, reading, spending time with her family, and being a part of family events.Betty is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Elizondo, of Ventura; her sons: Jim Molina and his wife Cheryl, of Ventura; David Molina and his wife Audra, of Reno; and Jared Ochoa and his wife Sandi, of Oxnard; her brothers: Joseph Garces, of Camarillo; Johnny Garces, of Idaho; and Freddy Garces, of Los Angeles; her sisters: Virginia Chavez, of Ventura; Armida Van Winkel, of Bakersfield; Barbara Garces, of Washington; Rosie de Araujo, of Los Angeles; and Teresa Garces, of Shasta Lake; her grandchildren: Sarah, James, Vanessa, Laurie, Bryce, Zachery, Payton, and Delaney; and her great grandchildren: Lydia, Leah, Donavan, Morgyn, Dakota, Brenden, Evan, Luca, and Mia.Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Edward C. Molina, former Postmaster of the Ventura, Fillmore, and Goleta Post Offices. She also was preceded by her sisters, Lydia Lourito and Alice Garces.A Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura. Friends may visit at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the San Buenaventura Mission, Ventura. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
