Becky ClinganMANSFIELD: Becky Clingan, 30, of Mansfield passed away suddenly due to extensive heart disease on Friday, August 18, 2017. Becky was the daughter of Randy and Lisa (Hetler) Clingan. She was born on April 9, 1987 in Shelby, Ohio, and had been a Mansfield resident all of her life.Becky was a 2005 graduate of Crestview High School and was attending North Central State College for a degree in bio-sciences. She attended the Mansfield First Church of the Brethren. Becky had a passion and love for horses starting at the very young age of nine. She competed in barrel and pole racing all the way through high school. She competed with her quarter horses at The Congress in Columbus. She was active in 4H and showed hogs and horses. She loved gardening and canning with her dad.In addition to her parents, Becky leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Bailey Clingan; sister, Crystal Dickerson of Ashland; three nephews, Mason Simmons, and Blake and Donovan Dickerson; aunts, Barbara Clingan of Mansfield, Diane Ringler of Brownwood, TX, and Virginia (Victor) Moser of Mansfield; and a cousin, Cindy Moser of Phoenix, AZ. She is preceded in death by grandparents, James and Eileen Clingan and Frank and Betty Hetler; and an aunt, Debra Bell.The family will welcome friends from 5-8pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A celebration of life for Becky will be held at 10am on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the funeral home. As Becky was comfortable in jeans and a hoodie, the family request those in attendance come dressed as Becky would. She will be laid to rest at Franklin Cemetery.
