Benita Pena MolinaABILENE, TXOur beloved mother, Benita P. Molina, 86, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 24, 2016, while surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South with Eddie Puga officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 with a prayer service starting at 6:30 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Benita was born on April 2, 1930 in New Braunfels, TX to the late Domingo and Guadalupe Pena Ybarra. She was a faithful Christian during her lifetime and attended Ambler Baptist Church. Benita married Jesse Molina on April 3, 1947 in Lamesa, TX and had four daughters and four sons.Survivors include Theresa Galvan (Victor), Lupe Martinez (David), Mary Helen Molina, Johnny Molina (Sylvia), Jesse Molina (Irma), Domingo Molina, Lydia Aguirre (Rick Bretado); son-in-law, Francisco Munoz; daughter-in-law, Nelda Molina; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Filemon Molina; and son-in-law, Victor Galvan. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jason Galvan, Ezekiel Martinez, Francisco Munoz, Jr., John Molina, Tim Molina, Kelly Molina, Michael Molina, Jose Aguirre, and Marco Aguirre.
