Benjamin McCoy, born May 12th, 1950, passed away on May 11th, 2023 at his home in Killeen, Texas. He lived a long and colorful life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a vast collection of cowboy hats.

Born and raised in the Lone Star State, Benjamin was never too far from a good barbecue or a great pair of cowboy boots. He worked as a carpenter for many years, building homes and skilled in the art of woodworking.

Benjamin was a lover of all things country, from classic country music to horseback riding. He was often found at local rodeos, cheering on his favorite cowboys and cowgirls. When he wasn't wrangling cattle, Benjamin loved spending time with his two children Shalonda McCoy 43 and Michael McCoy 44, whom he was incredibly proud of.

Although he may be gone, Ben's legacy lives on through his children and six grandchildren, Calinn Brown, Nia Junior, Teruis McCoy, Janae Rush, Kierra McCoy, Jasmine McCoy. May he rest in peace, knowing he left behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a community that loved him.
