TESCHON Benjamin R., 93, of North Haledon passed away on October 25, 2016. Benjamin Russel Teschon was born on June 22, 1923 in Paterson, New Jersey, the cherished son of Benjamin and Frederika. He resided in North Haledon for the past 55 years. A beloved husband of 55 years to the late Pauline (nee Knorr). A brother of the late Daniel Teschon. A loving father to daughter Kathy and son Russel and spouse Julia; a loving grandfather to Kathy's children Ashley and Jim and to Russel and Julia's children Megan, Tyler and Brendan. Ben grew up in the Borough of Prospect Park, NJ. He served in WWII as a Technical Sergeant Radio Operator in the 491st Bomb Group United States Air Force. He was an employee of the Armour Food Company for 35 years until he retired. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and member of the Double V Rod and Gun Club. Ben is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and member of the Hawthorne Gospel Church. The family will receive family and friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.
