Bennie Parker, age 62, of Vallejo, passed away on October 4, 2017, at home. Bennie was a native of Indianola, MS, but lived in Vallejo for many years.

Bennie worked for Jesse Bethel High School in Vallejo for 24 years until he recently retired. Bennie was a loveable, generous, outgoing, friendly person, who had a big heart and truly loved everyone around him. He loved sports and reading.

Bennie leaves behind to mourn his wife of 32 years, Patricia A. Parker, two step-children Buffy Jenkins, and Brandon Jenkins, and two step-grandchildren, Cameron and Alex Jenkins.

The moment that you died my heart was torn in two, one side filled with heartache, the other died with you. I often lie awake at night, when the world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day, but missing you is heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain. Until the joyous day arrives, That we will meet again.
