Bennie Buhl PeacockDecember 25, 1920 - June 21, 2014Bennie Buhl Peacock passed away on June 21, 2014 at a Nampa Care Center. He was born on December 25, 1920 in Hartville , MO to Jess and Ora Peacock. They moved to Caldwell, ID in 1925. He married Velma Lucille Raymond on March 24, 1938. They were married 70 years. Together they had two daughters, Carolyn and Sharon. He had several jobs as a young man before he became the Service Manager at Burns Chevrolet in Caldwell for 32 years. In later years he worked at Edmark Chevrolet. In earlier years he raced jalopies at Wilkins Speedway dirt track. He also loved going to the boat races at Lake Lowell. During this time he won many service awards for great customer service. He was especially proud of the London trip he won and many others. Dad is survived by daughters Carolyn Wade (Butch), Sharon Wilson. Grandchildren, Tony Fortik (Henri), Kelly Robert (Kathy), Kevin Robert (Dodie), Kerri Wade, Nachele Search (John), Julie Ipsen (Bruce). Several Great Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren. Also one sister Zola Gilmour of Salem, Or. Several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Lucille, two sisters and one brother. A graveside service will be held by Flahiff Funeral Chapel at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell Friday June 27, 2014 at 2:30. The family would like to thank XL Hospice and Grace Assisted Living for dad's care and all the friends that called and visited him while he was there.
