MilltownFerrell, Benny,92, of Milltown, IN, died on September 1, 2017 at Baptist Health-Floyd Hospital. He was born on January 22, 1925 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Luther and Rachel Parsons Ferrell.He was a retired forklift operator for the Creasey Company and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God in Corydon, Indiana and an avid flea marketer. He was an Army veteran having served during World War II with General Patton.He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Midge and Maretha.He is survived by his wife, Shirley J. Potterville Ferrell of Milltown, IN; son, Charlie Ferrell (Gail) of Milltown, IN; daughter, Darlene A. Myers (Nelson) of Milltown, IN; step sons, James Cornelison of Milltown, IN and Russell Cornelison (Debbie) of Macy, IN; step daughters, Della Hensley (Keith) of Marengo, IN and Elizabeth Norton (Harley) of Burnsville, NC; grandchildren, Melody Grow (Adrian), Joshua Ferrell (Rebecca), Paul H. Stewart Jr. (Jeannie), and Kari L. Kile (Chris); great-grandchildren Kadence, Morgan, Cody, Baya, Noel, and Jakob; step-grandchildren, Karla Andrew (James), Joseph Hensley (Traci), Chris Grunden, Tommy Norton (Jane) and Craig Cornelison; and 15 step great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Batman Ridge Cemetery near Milltown. Visitation will be 4-8 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 and after 9:00 am until time of the service at the funeral home. Pastor Paul Greer will officiate the service. Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, is entrusted with the arrangements.
